With the upcoming school year bringing us back closer to the normal we expect from schools — sort of — the Osceola County School Board knows that parents and students will have plenty of questions, especially when it comes to transportation.
Luckily, the answers will be just a phone call or click away!
The district’s Back-To-School Transportation Parent Hotline will be open for calls in English or Spanish over a three-week period at 407-483-3673.
The line will be open Aug. 2-6 from 8 a.m.to 4:30 p.m., and the weeks of Aug. 9-13 and 16-20 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
In addition to the Transportation Parent Hotline, parents can select the “Let’s Talk” tab on the school district’s website at www.osceolaschools.net to ask transportation or back-to-school questions. Parents are encouraged to submit questions online in English or Spanish, and they will be answered in a timely manner via a return email.
In order to bolster customer service, both the Transportation Parent Hotline and the Let’s Talk online platform will remain active throughout the school year for parents and community members to ask questions, leave comments, share concerns, and/or give praise to the Osceola School District.
Parents and students are reminded that all students and drivers will be required to wear a face mask at all times while riding the bus.
Speaking of drivers, the District is currently hiring School Bus Drivers and Attendants for the upcoming 2021-22 school year. The district will be having an upcoming job fair.
School bus drivers and attendants make a difference in the lives of students they transport to and from schools and special events. No previous experience is needed to apply, and the District will train qualified applicants.
