Downtown Kissimmee is tired of being ignored.

So tired, in fact, that it’s tearing the four lane road of Broadway into two lanes, possibly putting down brick instead of asphalt and trading some of its traffic lights and parallel parking spaces for roundabouts and front-out angled parking.

On April 27, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, in conjunction with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and other local law enforcement agencies participated in the sixth National Take Back Initiative. It took in 218 pounds of drugs during the four-hour event at four locations.

 
Harmony softball wins, flag football falls PDF Print E-mail

Harmony's softball team edged Osceola, 3-1, Tuesday to win a 7A-2 regional semifinal softball game at Longhorn field. But, the news was not so good for the school's flag football team, which lost to Dr. Phillips, 20-19, in a second-round playoff game.
