An elderly Kissimmee man Tuesday was cited for careless driving after crashing into the front of a Buenaventura Lakes doctor’s office.

Jose Martinez, 79, hit the gas pedal instead of the brake while attempting to park his 2010 Chevrolet pickup in the parking lot of Family Physicians Group of BVL, 2576 Boggy Creek Road, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The truck crashed into the building at approximately 11:50 a.m.

Neither Martinez nor anyone inside the office was injured.
