On Thursday at approximately 1:59 a.m., Osceola County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to the area of Osceola Parkway and Buenaventura Lakes Boulevard after receiving a call regarding a possible reckless driver.

Deputies located the vehicle, a blue BMW, and the driver in the parking lot of the Walgreens at 2050 E. Osceola Parkway. Deputies approached the vehicle and spoke with the driver, identified as Ivan Matos, 24, of 4929 Fells Cove Ave., Kissimmee.

As deputies were speaking with Matos, they could smell what appeared to be marijuana. Matos cooperated with deputies and allowed a search of the vehicle. Deputies recovered a large sum of cash, prescription pills, approximately 9.5 grams of marijuana and more than 300 plastic bags, commonly used to package narcotics.

Based on the evidence, Matos was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance (Xanax) with intent to sell, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of cannabis with intent to sell and possession of a controlled substance (Diazepam) with intent to sell.

Matos was booked into the Osceola County Jail.
