Osceola County Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying an armed carjacking suspect.

The investigation began Jan. 7 at approximately 11:41 p.m., when deputies responded to 516 Kilimanjaro Drive in Poinciana. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the victim who said he was at the intersection of Kilimanjaro Drive and Hunter Road driving his gold, 2000 Land Rover Discovery when an unknown male waved at him. He rolled down his window and the suspect pulled out a handgun and told the victim to get out of the car. The suspect fled the area in the victim’s vehicle traveling toward Koa Road. The suspect was wearing a black hooded sweater and black baseball cap.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect or stolen Land Rover with Florida tag F351BZ is asked to call the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office at 407-348-2222 or Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS (8477).

Calls made to Crimeline remain anonymous, and tips that lead to the felony arrest of suspects and/or the recovery of stolen property and drugs are eligible for cash rewards of up to $1,000.
