The following classes and being offered by Osceola County Extension Services and are free unless stated otherwise:

• From 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, Taking Control of Your Money, at Extension Services, Osceola Heritage Park, 1921 Kissimmee Valley Lane, Kissimmee. Stop wondering where money went and letting it control you. Instead establish financial goals, discover your financial potential and develop a plan to make your money work for you. Registration is required. Call 321-697-3000

• From 6 to 8 p.m.  Thursday, May 24, Food Preservation – Dehydrating, at Extension Services, Osceola Heritage Park, 1921 Kissimmee Valley Lane, Kissimmee. Learn to dehydrate your own fruits and vegetables with this hands-on class.  You will have the opportunity to take your project home.  Space is limited. There is a $10 supply fee due by May 18. • From 6 to 7:30 p.m.  Tuesday, June 5, Managing in Tough Times, at Extension Services, Osceola Heritage Park, 1921 Kissimmee Valley Lane, Kissimmee. Is your financial stress level up because of the economy and recent price hikes? Learn how to effectively plan your spending, identify spending leaks, save money and stretch your dollars.

• From 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 29, Using Your Sprinkler System Efficiently, at Extension Services, Osceola Heritage Park, 1921 Kissimmee Valley Lane, Kissimmee. Have a prettier landscape and save money by irrigating efficiently.  This workshop teaches you how to operate your sprinkler system control box and fix basic sprinkler problems. Registration is required.  Call 407-944-5000.

• From 6 to 8 p.m.  Thursday, May 31, Save Your Home: Prevent Foreclosure, at Extension Services, Osceola Heritage Park, 1921 Kissimmee Valley Lane, Kissimmee. This class addresses how to save your home from foreclosure through better money management, communication with your lender and identifying other mortgage payment/foreclosure prevention options. Registration is required. Call 321-697-3000.
