The Osceola County Clerk’s Office Employee of the Month for June 2012 is Mariela Zayas
Zayas has been with the Clerk’s Office just over a year, and in that short period, she has proven herself an outstanding asset, according to a Clerk’s Office press release.
As the Traffic Criminal Docketing Clerk, Zayas deals with an enormous amount of filings, not only for criminal traffic but for civil traffic infractions also. With the department being shorthanded, Zayas has taken on covering the misdemeanor docketing, even though it is not her responsibility.
She is always willing to help anyone who might need assistance. Zayas faces each day with a smile and a kind word for everyone.
She is courteous to her coworkers and earns the respect of her peers by demonstrating a positive, can-do attitude that inspires us all.
It is a pleasure working with such a hardworking, kind individual, and the Clerk’s Office is proud to have her, the press release stated.
