The Osceola County School Board voted 4-1 at a special meeting tonight to allow Superintendent Terry Andrews to work the next two weeks before leaving the position. School Board Member Jay wheeler was the opposing vote.

Andrews will be paid his earned time off of 117 sick days and 77 vacation days as severance pay.

Assistant Superintendent  of Elementary Curriculum and Instruction Melba Luciano was chosen by the School Board 4-1 to be interim superintendent. She will be superintendent effective July 9 for six months. School Board Chairwoman Barbara Horn was the opposing vote.
