The following classes are being offered by Osceola County Extension Services and are free unless stated otherwise:

• From 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, Taking Control of Your Money, at Extension Services, Osceola Heritage Park, 1921 Kissimmee Valley Lane, Kissimmee. Stop wondering where money went and letting it control you. Instead establish financial goals, discover your financial potential and develop a plan to make your money work for you. • From 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 26, Save Your Home: Prevent Foreclosure at Extension Services, Osceola Heritage Park, 1921 Kissimmee Valley Lane, Kissimmee. This class addresses how to save your home from foreclosure through better money management, communication with your lender and identifying other mortgage payment/foreclosure prevention options. • From 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, Fall Vegetable Gardening, Extension Services, Osceola Heritage Park, 1921 Kissimmee Valley Lane, Kissimmee. Learn the basics of growing vegetables in Florida, different vegetable seasons, common pests and diseases that may attack your crops. Registration is required. Call 321-697-3000.

• From 6 to 9 p.m.  Tuesdays, Aug. 7, 14, 21, and 28, A Home of Your Own in English and Spanish, at Extension Services, Osceola Heritage Park, 1921 Kissimmee Valley Lane, Kissimmee.

This class addresses the ins and outs of buying/building a home. Participants will learn how to prepare financially, select a home, negotiate price, review contract and what to expect at closing. • From 2 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, Taking Control of Your Money, at Extension Services, Osceola Heritage Park, 1921 Kissimmee Valley Lane, Kissimmee.

This program focuses on the various types of flooring in your home and how to install and care for it.
