Many of the nations most talented high school players are in Kissimmee competing at the AAU Boys Basketball Super Showcase through the end of the month.

Basketball teams from the across the United States and Canada will compete at Osceola Heritage Park and at several local high schools.

Games will be at the OHP Exhibition Building from today through Tuesday, and at the Silver Spurs Arena Tuesday through July 28.

Competition for the 11th grade Division I and II teams will be held at Osceola, Liberty, Gateway and Poinciana  high schools as well as at the Silver Spurs Arena, where four courts have been installed.

The 12th grade Showcase championship tournament is scheduled for next week at most of the same locations.

Games also are scheduled at high schools in Orange and Seminole counties.

The Super Showcase events are certified by the NCAA. Many of the nation’s premier college coaches attend and evaluate the players for possible scholarship opportunities.

Most of the top 100 high school players in the country will compete at the Showcase events. Most NBA players have participated in the Showcase events.

The championship games are held at ESPN Wide World of Sports.

Tickets for individual sessions at OHP are $16 for adults and $11 for ages 3-9. Children under 3 are free. Event passes are available.
