Update: At 1:15 p.m., the Sheriff's Office reported Martinez-Negron has been located and is in good health.

Osceola County Sheriff's deputies need the public's help in locating an 88-year-old man.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has issued a Silver Alert for Rafael Martinez-Negron who was last seen at his home on Reins Court in Kissimmee today at approximately 7:30 a.m., according to Osceola County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Twis Lizasuain.

He might be driving a 2008 silver Hyundai Santa Fe with Florida veterans tag ADK6.

Martinez-Negron has a great deal of cash and several guns with him, Lizasuain said, adding he has health issues and told family members he does not trust law enforcement.

The public is advised not to approach Martinez-Negron, but to contact law enforcement immediately.

Martinez-Negron is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5 feet 5 inches and weighing 145 pounds. He has brown eyes and white hair. He was wearing a blue Polo shirt, brown shorts and he walks with a cane.

Calls made to Crimeline remain anonymous and tips that lead to the felony arrest of suspects and/or the recovery of stolen property and drugs are eligible for cash rewards of up to $1,000 dollars.
