It is going to be a busy fall at Walt Disney World with the return of the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival and Not-So-Scary Halloween event at the Magic Kingdom as well as all-new attractions such as Splitsville and The Legend of Jack Sparrow.

Among the brand-new attractions coming to Disney are Splitsville, a 50,000 square foot, two-story bowling complex, where the emphasis goes far beyond bowling.

Splitsville will have 30 lanes, but it also will have live entertainment, sushi bars, hand-tossed pizza, “Voodoo” shrimp and much more.

There is more on the new attraction at www.splitsville.com.

Also new is The Legend of Jack Sparrow. The new Disney Studios attraction will give guests a chance to be a part of the world of the Pirates of the Caribbean films. The attraction will be located at the former home of Journey in Narnia: Prince Caspian (Soundstage Four).

Returning in September is one of Disney’s most popular annual events, the 17th annual Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. It kicks off Sept. 28 and continues through Nov. 12.

The 46-day event adds one more day for 2012.

The event features taste seminars, grand tasting events and the East to the Beat! music series featuring Smash Mouth, Dennis DeYoung, Blues Traveler and more.

There is more information on the Epcot festival at www.disneyworld.com/foodandwine.

Halloween comes early this year at the Disney resort with the return of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Part at the Magic Kingdom. The family spooky event returns Sept. 11 and continues on select nights through Nov. 2. A separate ticket is required. There is more information at Disneyworld.com/Halloween.

The popular Test Track attraction at Epcot returns with a new look in the fall. “Test Track Presented by Chevrolet” will include  a design center, with music, media and lighting and collection of Chevrolet concept cars. Guests will be able to design their own custom concept vehicles.

Then guests can put their design to the test on the Test Track circuit.

Also returning Sept. 7-8 is Night of Joy at the Magic Kingdom. The Christian music event features Casting Crowns, MercyMe and Christ Tomlin. It, too, is a separate ticket event.

Finally, fall ends with the 37th Festival of the Masters, Nov. 9-11 at Downtown Disney. The art show features more than 150 juried fine artists.
