“Evidence continues to be positive and convincing that students make greater gains when schools engage families and the community in learning,” Superintendent Michael A. Grego said. “I am extremely proud of our Gold and Silver schools.”
During this school year, more than 8,200 parents, senior citizens, business leaders, concerned adults and students have donated well over 141,000 hours to Osceola County schools.

Likewise, more than 240 businesses joined with Osceola schools in win-win partnerships through the Partners in Education Program. As society continues to increase its demand on the role of teachers and with a limitation of funds at issue, OASIS volunteers extend teachers’ and staffs’ professional skills and assist in the effort to meet the unique needs of each student.
Individuals interested in becoming a school volunteer, mentor or business partner are encouraged to contact the OASIS School Volunteer Office at 407-870-4080.
