Osceola County Sheriff's Office detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying suspects involved in an armed robbery at the Days Inn at 5840 U.S. Highway 192.

The investigation began June 16 at approximately 1:48 a.m. when deputies were called to the lodging business. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the victim, who said he was walking to his room when two black males approached him with a gun and demanded he open the door to his room. The victim told the suspects he did not have a room key with him, after which they all walked to the front desk. Once there, the victim jumped over the counter and told the front desk clerk to call 911. The suspects then fled the area.

The victim described one suspect as being 6 feet tall, weighing 200 pounds and wearing all black clothing with his face partially covered. The second suspect was described as 5 feet 8 inches tall with short hair and weighing 180 pounds; he also was wearing all black clothing.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Osceola County Sheriff's Office at 407-348-2222 or Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS (8477).
