The following appointments have been made at the Osceola County School District:
• Ryan H. Adams, coordinator of athletics, JROTC, and driver education - effective July 1.  
Adams has served as a physical education teacher in New Hampshire (1998-2001) and Maine (2002-04); an activities director in New Hampshire (2004-06); and was serving as a physical education/health teacher and the director of athletics at New Dimensions High School (2006-10.)
Adams earned his bachelor’s degree in physical education (K-12) with a health minor from Plymouth State College and his master’s degree in sports management from the United States Sports Academy.
• Wendy Honeycutt, principal of Bellalago Academy - effective July 1.
Honeycutt began her career in Osceola County in 1992. She has served as a teacher assistant (1992-94) and a fifth-grade teacher (2000-04) at Pleasant Hill Elementary School; a fifth-grade teacher (2004-05), a dean of students (2005), and the assistant principal (2005-10) at Bellalago Academy. Honeycutt also was employed as a fifth-grade teacher at Meador Elementary in Houston, Texas (1997-2000.)  
Honeycutt earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Central Florida, her master’s degree in TESOL Education from Nova Southeastern University; and certification in educational leadership from Nova Southeastern University.
• Diane M. Rivers, principal, Kissimmee Elementary School - effective Aug. 4.
Rivers began her career in Osceola County in 1998. She has served as an elementary teacher at Mill Creek Elementary School (1998-2001) and Highlands Elementary School (2001-03); a literacy coach/learning resource specialist at Kissimmee Elementary School (2003-06); an assistant principal at Partin Settlement Elementary School (2006-09) and Lakeview Elementary School (2009-present.)
Rivers earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education from the University of Florida and her educational specialist’s degree in educational leadership from Stetson University.
• Charles “Mytron” Lisby, Principal of The Osceola County School for the Arts - effective July 1.
Lisby began his career in Osceola County in 2008 as the assistant principal for The Osceola County School for the Arts. Prior to his employment in Osceola he worked in Indiana as a band director (1972-76), an athletic director (1976-77), a principal (1977-94), the director of secondary education (1994-2008), and the director of facilities support and transportation (2008.)
Lisby earned his bachelor’s degree in music education from DePauw University and his master’s and educational specialist’s degrees in educational administration and supervision from Purdue University.
• Megan Dierickx, assistant principal of Narcoossee Middle School - effective July 1.
Dierickx began her career in Osceola County in 2004. She has served as a sixth-grade teacher at Parkway Middle School (2004-05); a fourth-grade teacher at Lakeview Elementary (2005-08); and dean of students at Denn John Middle School (2008-10.) Prior to her employment in Osceola County, Dierickx was employed with Brevard County Public Schools at Park Avenue Christian Academy (1998-2004.)  
Dierickx earned a bachelor’s degree in nutrition and fitness from Florida State University, a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Central Florida, and a master’s degree in educational leadership at Stetson University.
• Alison Doe, assistant principal, Pleasant Hill Elementary School - effective July 1.
Doe began her career in Osceola County in 2002. She has served as a gifted teacher (2002), a third-grade teacher (2002-06), a math/science resource teacher (2006-08), an administrative dean (2008-09) at Mill Creek Elementary School; and as the dean of students at Discovery Intermediate School (2009-10.)
Doe earned her bachelor’s degrees in elementary education and communication from Rider University and her master’s degree in educational leadership from Stetson University.
• Megan Gould, assistant principal, Parkway Middle School - effective July 1.
Gould began her career in Osceola County in 1999. She has served as a mathematics teacher (1999-2005) at Horizon Middle School; a mathematics teacher (2005-08) at Poinciana High School; and as the secondary mathematics curriculum specialist (2008-10.)
Gould earned her bachelor’s degrees in elementary education, with a minor in mathematics, from Wittenberg University and her master’s degree in educational leadership from National-Louis University.
