About three dozen seniors will have one last shot to button up a jersey and play high school baseball Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the second Osceola County East-West Senior Game at Harmony High.

Last year’s game, put together by Longhorns Coach Mike Fields, was a success — and so much fun that nobody remembers the final score.

And that, Fields said, is the point.

“A lot of these kids won’t go past high-school ball,” he said. “We owe it to these kids to give them one last chance to put on a uniform and have fun playing the game.

“There’s no pressure to win, just have fun playing with a lot of guys they grew up playing with and against since T-ball.”

Admission is $4 ($2 for students) to cover costs.

Last year the Harmony and St. Cloud “Bullhorns” combined to beat the rest of the county. Gateway joins their side this year. The rosters are:

East – Gateway: E.J. Devarie, Juan Rivera, Julio Abreu, Anthony Lupa, Jon Maldonado, Manny Rivera. St. Cloud: Danny Caballero, Tyler Jones, Jeff Weretka, Miguel Rivera, Kyle LaPlant, Mack Alvarez, Edgar Velez. Harmony: Tyler Whitney, Anthony Grego, Trent Fields, Austin Hickey, Trent Hinton.

West – Osceola: Andrew Heifner, Dylan Dillard, Herick Melendez, Dustin Hindle. Liberty: Jesse Sviridoff, Victor Fermin, Brent Rhodes, Nick Rodriguez, Johnny Maslanka. Poinciana: Trent Barber, Clint Fischer, Mike Morrisey, Scott Riley. Celebration: Matt Kann, Joey Schiavo, Alex Dyer, Miguel Justino, Doug Dingee, Kevin Dingee, Ryan Pearson.
