St. Cloud motorcycle officer injured in crash PDF Print E-mail

Today at approximately 1 p.m. a St. Cloud Police Department motorcycle officer was traveling west on 13th Street in St. Cloud at the intersection of Georgia Avenue when he was struck by a vehicle. According to a St. Cloud Police Department press release, the officer, who is not being identified, was traveling with his lights and sirens activated heading to a crash.
Due to the impact, the officer was ejected from his motorcycle. The officer was airlifted to the hospital due to his injuries and was listed in stable condition.

"The officer is doing well; he sustained a broken left leg," police department officials stated in a 4:52 p.m. update.  
The Kissimmee Police Department responded to the scene to conduct the investigation for the St. Cloud Police Department and the investigation is ongoing.
