Sitting at the end of West 17th Street, the St. Cloud Senior Citizens Center bills itself as an activities center for seniors as opposed to a senior care center.

Terri Hurt, the facility supervisor for the past two years, said people of all ages are welcome.

City of St. Cloud Public Services recently received the 2012 Water Conservation Award of Excellence from Florida Section of the American Water Works Association (FSAWWA) for its submission of the City of St. Cloud Stormwater Augmentation Program.

Fifty years ago in 1963, a man and woman were married.

On Feb. 12, a special program will be held at the St. Cloud Senior Citizen Center on 17th Street to help celebrate their special day.

On Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Osceola County Sheriff Bob Hansell and the Sheriff’s Office will host the first annual Lt. Roger Haddock Trail Ride.
