On Feb. 22, Kissimmee Police Capt. Warren Shepard and Cpl. Stacey Lancaster were honored with CFIX’s Intelligence Officer of the Year Award. Frome left are: Kissimmee Police Chief Lee Massie, Department of Homeland Security Deputy Under Secretary Scott McAlliister, Lancaster, Shepard, Former CFIX Director Dave Ogden and Kissimmee Police Deputy Chief Jeff Odell.

Two members of the Kissimmee Police Department were awarded with the Central Florida Intelligence Exchange’s (CFIX) Intelligence Officer of the Year Award for the Law Enforcement Sector.

Thirty-two Israeli children with life-threatening ilnesses were recently guests at Give Kids The World Village in Kissimmee at no cost.

Give Kids The World Village (GKTW), a nonprofit “storybook” resort for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families, welcomed 32 Israeli children in January for a weeklong, cost-free fantasy vacation.
