Angel Jimenez, of Boy Scout Troop 240 in Kissimmee, completed his Eagle Scout project on April 13 at Indian Point, repainting and restoring fire hydrants for the community.

After 30 years on the force and seven chiefs later, Kissimmee Police Department Capt. Pam Rousch is calling it a career.
She was honored on April 2 at a Kissimmee City Commission meeting and presented with a retirement watch. Before spending three decades at the department, Rousch worked in communications as a dispatcher. She became an officer in 1982 after the persuasion of former Chief Frank Ross.
“I’ve been blessed. I love my job,” she said.

If your landscape has been neglected through the winter months, like mine, it may be in desperate need of a spring-cleaning. Spring-cleaning duties in the landscape should include pruning, weeding, mulching, fertilizing, and planting.
