The crew from Eagle Construction, a crew of eight Poinciana High School students, will be representing the state of Florida in a national building competition June 23 at a competition to be held in Kansas City.

It isn’t every day that Adrian Lopez can turn bread, fruits and vegetables into a car.  Now, it’s one of his newest recipes as a Junior Chef in Dr. Cleo’s Cooking Club.

Since February, the after school program at Central Avenue Elementary teaches students from first through fifth grade basic nutrition and cooking skills by making a different healthy snack each week.
