Description

One of the initial speed bumps a person faces in caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's or Dementia is how to address the issue of driving. Join us at the Osceola Council on Aging (Phone: 407-846-8532) located at 700 Generation Point, Kissimmee, FL 34744 and learn how to manage the driving issue with your family member. The class is free and geared toward supporting family caregivers with knowledge and resources. The monthly Alzheimer's and Dementia Family Caregiver Support Group will immediately follow the class from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm. This event is sponsored by the East Central Florida Memory Clinic (Phone: 321-768-9575).

The following criteria will be used to determine approval of events. Non profit organizations or municipalities with meetings or events for members or the public. Businesses may qualify if they are hosting a free function or event for the good of the community. Sun Publications of Florida reserves the right not to post an event for any reason.
