The City of Kissimmee Parks and Recreation Department recently opened the Mill Slough Park Fitness Trail, offering residents and visitors a well-shaded area to exercise outdoors.

“This new addition to the park provides a full-body outdoor fitness trail for users to stay in shape, develop, and strengthen muscles. It can also be used to create resistance or flexibility,” said Mayor Olga Gonzalez. “Projects like these allow the City to continue offering spaces for residents and visitors to enjoy and take care of their wellness.

The costs of the $96,197 trail were paid for through a combination of city, state and federal grant funds. It’s located at the end of Agate Street off Boulder Road in Kissimmee.
