Thursday night, Aug. 24, from 6-8:30 p.m. is Open Mic Night at the Hart Memorial Library in Kissimmee. Adults and teens can share musical talents, spoken word, artist ability or just relax and enjoy. Also at the Library, the Monthly No Pressure Book Club for adults on Wednesday, Aug. 30 from 6:30-7:30. Read a book you read (or were supposed to read) back in high school and come discuss.
The Orlando City B soccer team will play the Columbus Crew 2 squad at Osceola County Stadium in Kissimmee on Sunday, August 27 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 each.
City recognizes Motorcycle Clinic’s 50th Year
Congratulations to the Motorcycle Clinic for 50 years of business in the city of Kissimmee. The City recognized the company with a proclamation and Ruby Award during the City Commission meeting on Aug. 15. The Motorcycle Clinic, located on East Vine Street, is a family-owned store that specializes in motorcycle sales, parts, repair services and customizations. The Ruby Award recognizes longstanding economic success stories of over 50 years in the community.
