The Florida in Focus Photography Show, featuring over 50 photographers, will be held at the Osceola Arts exhibit space (92411 Irlo Bronson Highway, Kissimmee) from April 14 to May 19. A free “meet the artists” reception will be held this Saturday, April 15, from 2-5 p.m.

 

The Osceola Heritage Park Events Center will host the Repticon Kissimmee reptile and exotic animal expo this weekend starting at 9 a.m. See live animals from around the world, purchase pets and pet products, and learn more about reptiles and exotic animals. Admission is $12 for adults, $6 for kids under 12.

 

On Wednesday, April 19, from 4:30-5:30 at the Hart Memorial Library in Kissimmee, introduce your child to WISH, by the award-winning author, Barbara O’Connor. Eleven-year-old Charlie Reese, with the help of a true-blue friend, a bighearted aunt and uncle, and the dog of her dreams, unexpectedly learns the true meaning of family in the least likely of places. Children who attend will receive a copy of the book to read and enjoy activities that will bring the book to life. Recommended for ages 6-12.

Also at the library. a presentation on Understanding Your Credit Score will be held on Tues., April 18 from 6 to 7 p.m.
