A Hero For Kids held its annual “Real Heroes Don’t Wear Capes” charity gala Saturday, where the group honors those who work like superheroes to make the community better for residents.

The honorees were:

Lin Badman-Paton, Law Enforcement Officer of the Year

Elizabeth Rodriguez, Volunteer of the Year
