Here is a list that continues to grow: Osceola County residents earning collegiate honors, as reported by Merit Pages News:

Taylor Tobin of Kissimmee and Luke and Zeth Vilardo of Celebration earned Bachelor of Arts degrees, three of the 2,362 degrees awarded Dec. 10-11 at the University of Alabama.

Essence Wiggins of Kissimmee, has earned the Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Valdosta State University. Wiggins is among more than 800 students who completed their degree requirements during Fall Semester 2021.

The University of Tampa hosted a commencement ceremony on Dec. 17 to honor the 1,063 graduates at the University’s 153rd commencement. Among those were Kissimmee’s Sandra Campbell (B.A., Applied Dance), Jessica Greenberg (B.S., Elementary Education) and Ashton Keaton (B.A., Pyschology).

Additionally, Ashton Keaton of Reunion (Psychology major), Sandra Campbell of Kissimmee (Applied Dance) and Mary Morgan of Davenport (Psychology) have earned earned Dean’s List honors.

Arianna Mastali of Celebration earned the distinction of Faculty Honors for Fall 2021 at Georgia Tech in Atlanta. This designation is awarded to undergraduate students who have earned a 4.0 academic average for the semester.

Kissimmee’s Lucas Mugica has been named to the dean’s list at James Madison University (Harrisonburg, Va.) for the fall 2021 semester. Students who earn dean’s list honors must carry at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a GPA of between 3.5 and 3.899. Mugica is a musical theatre major.

Tristan Eberbach of Celebration is one of the more than 650 cadets and students recognized for academic achievement during the fall 2021 semester at The Citadel (Charleston, S.C.) Eberbach was awarded gold stars, awarded to cadets and students at The Citadel who achieved a 3.7 grade point average or higher, and are also placed on The Citadel’s Dean’s list.

In addition, Gerik Siwko of St. Cloud and Justin White of Kissimmee earn a place on the Dean’s List. Cadets who are named to the Dean’s list receive a medal, which is worn on their uniform during the semester following their academic achievement.

Brian Beck of St Cloud has been named to the 2021 fall quarter Dean’s List at Palmer College of Chiropractic’s Port Orange, FL. The school is based in Davenport, Iowa.

Christina Stoll, of Kissimmee and Celebration High School, has been named to the Dean’s List at Hamilton College (Clinton, N.Y.) for the 2021 fall semester.

Jude Pierre of Kissimmee has been named to the fall 2021 dean’s list at the University of Findlay (Ohio), earning a grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.

Hollins University congratulates Jonea Mathis of St. Cloud, on earning Dean’s List honors during the fall 2021 semester. To attain this distinction, students must earn at least a 3.5 average on a 4.0 grading scale.

Among students earning dean’s list honors at Tufts University (Medford, Mass.) is Nicole Verde of Kissimmee. Dean’s list honors at Tufts require a semester grade point average of 3.4 or greater.

Eight local students earned degrees from University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) in fall 2021.
