KOA Elementary, 5000 KOA St., presents a Multi-Cultural Fair tonight (Oct. 12) from 5-7 p.m. Enjoy live music, food, games and more. Vendor space ($25) is available. For more information, contact Andrea Hickey at 407-518-1161.

Teen murder mystery at the Library: ages 12-18 can take part in “A Timeless Tale of Treachery and Treason” that has befallen a kingdom far, far away – a kingdom where jealousy, betrayal and deception are common story lines. It will be up to the participants to find the villain so that everyone can live happily ever after. Once Upon a Murder takes place on Saturday, Oct. 14 at the Poinciana Library on Doverplum Avenue.

The adults get the chance partake in their own murder mystery this month, If Books Can Kill, on Oct. 18 at 6:30 p.m. The premise is there has been a murder at the library, and only you can help solve it. This mystery theater experience’s purpose is to identify the killer and close the book on the investigation.

The Library will host a Community Blood Drive on Wednesday, Oct. 15 from 1-6 p.m. OneBlood’s Big Red Bus will be onsite to receive your life saving donation. Face coverings must be worn to donate. This year’s Spooky Spectacular happens on Saturday, Oct. 28 from 10 a.m. to noon. Children can dress up in costume and be part of the library’s Halloween extravaganza. Adults may get in on the seasonal fun that day from 2-4 p.m. Day of the Dead Pottery discusses fascinating facts about the traditional Mexican holiday while designing a sugar skull potted plant. Supplies will be provided.

All Library activities are free and open to the public.

Cosmic STEAM Nights 2023 will be held at Osceola County Title 1 District Middle schools this fall. Step inside the Orlando Science Center’s Mobil Planetarium to view planets, constellations, galaxies and more. This free event gives students and families a handson STEAM activities experience. This is an opportunity to learn through Virtual Reality (VR) Robotic Spheros.

Cosmic STEAM night in the Poinciana area, will be on Thursday, Oct. 26 at Discovery Intermediate School from 6-8 p.m. Space is limited to the first 200 participants.
