The Osceola County Fair returns this weekend for its annual 10-day event, featuring shows, music, rides, and more.
The fair, held at Osceola Heritage Park, runs from February 10-19, with both local and national musical acts on the schedule.
One can’t-miss performance is from headliner Chase Matthew, a rising star in the country music scene and the newest signee to Warner Music Nashville, who closes out the festival on Feb. 19 at 6 p.m.
If you can’t wait until then for your country music fix, Tobacco Road Band will take the stage this Saturday for shows at 6 and 8:30 p.m.
The community stage features even more musical acts, with hometown acts featured throughout the fair’s run, including Nfusion, Thomas Watkins, Erin Reese, Kris Brocato, and the Osceola Idol contest taking place on Feb. 12.
There is truly something for everyone at the fair, so if music isn’t what you’re after, there are also magicians, stilt walkers, animal shows, laser tag, and an interactive science show.
The fair is hosted by The Kissimmee Valley Livestock Show, a non-profit organization committed to promoting agriculture, the education and development of area youth and the Osceola County community, and so there are a lot of agricultural and animal-centric experiences to be had, as well.
One such experience that is a must-see is the Children’s Pet Show, where kids ages 4-12 can show their pets. Other livestock shows include Rabbit Show, Poultry Show, Beef Heifer Show, Breeding Goat Show, Open Hog & Steer, and Breeding Sheep.
On top of all of the shows and exhibits, the fair features the fan-favorite midway, meaning even the thrill-seekers in your group will have plenty to do.
