As we celebrate Tuesday’s holiday, whatever you call it — Independence Day or the 4th of July or The Night That Scares All Our Dogs (okay, we made that one up) — there are multiple events to celebrate the holiday in Osceola County with fun activities for the whole family.

Multiple events are happening all across Osceola County. Just don’t forget to stay hydrated!

Here’s some ideas for where to head. Keep in mind, each of these are outdoor events, so they’re weather permitting. If the recent weather pattern holds, bring water, and watch for it also coming from the sky.

On the Lakefront, in St. Cloud: The City of St. Cloud’s Independence Day Celebration, 4th on the Lake, will takes place on Thursday at St. Cloud Lakefront Park. Swing by 5 p.m. to enjoy live music by the Derek Mack Band, a kids’ zone, games and prizes and local businesses, the All-American Car show will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. and a kid’s Bike Parade at 6:30 and a fireworks show at 9:15 p.m.

… and in Kissimmee: The City of Kissimmee’s Annual Monumental 4th of July Celebration features live performances on the Festival Lawn starting at 7 p.m., KUA Kid’s Zone on the Veterans Lawn, Toho Water Authority Hydration Station, food trucks, beverage concessions, and a grand Fireworks display to close the night at 9 p.m.

Fun Spot:  Fun Spot America Kissimmee will join its friends and neighbors at the Old Town Kissimmee entertainment district for the July 4 celebration at 10 a.m. Old Town will once again present live music from Rock town on the Main Stage from 6 to 10 p.m. plus a spectacular fireworks display, in partnership with Fun Spot America Kissimmee, from the top of the Old Town Buildings in the South Entertainment area, beginning at 9 p.m.  The entire day of entertainment is free for the whole family.

Independence Day Celebration: The annual Fourth of July event in Celebration draws thousands, showcasing unmatched patriotic spirit. It features live entertainment by DJ City Beat and Audio Exchange, food vendors, drinks, fireworks at 9:20 p.m., and more, offering a great chance to connect with a diverse audience. (Park & Ride will be located at 215 Celebration Place running from 4-11 p.m.)

Legoland’s Red, White, and BOOM: Families who want to get out of town for something different can head to Winter Haven to indulge in limited-time only treats, fun activities, special entertainment, and extended Park hours for a special firework show. The Park’s signature fireworks display, “Touch the Sky” offers a unique viewing experience with special glasses that allow guests to watch fireworks explode into 3D LEGO bricks above Lake Eloise during the brick-tastic fireworks show at 9 p.m.

In addition, the local theme parks (Sea World, Universal, Disney World) have annual 4th-themed events with fireworks. It’ll be a busy night in the sky!
