Osceola Magic’s Swish celebrates with all his friends!

It was a basketball birthday celebration Thursday night at the Silver Spurs Arena! The Osceola Magic’s mascot, Swish, turned ... oh who knows, and who cares, but it was cause for a celebration, attended by his mascot friends, including Stuff from the Orlando Magic, UCF’s Knightro, the Orlando Solar Bears’ Shades, and an old friend, Stryker from the Florida Fire Frogs. Though Osceola couldn’t find a victory against the Ontario Clippers, it was still a fun time had by the fans, and all of Swish’s friends!

Sharing the Love at 5th annual Scavenger Hunt

The 5th annual St. Cloud Chamber Scavenger Hunt presented by Orlando Health was held Feb. 2. As usual, it was a fun way of meeting various Chamber members, increasing awareness of the City of St. Cloud, the St. Cloud Chamber and its members, but most importantly getting out of the office and having a great time with friends in the city on a sunny Friday afternoon. It included visiting various Chamber members throughout St. Cloud and Kissimmee to pick up clues and leave social media posts. Orlando Health won first place and the Osceola News Gazette came in second.

A Hero For Kids held its annual “Real Heroes Don’t Wear Capes” charity gala Saturday, where the group honors those who work like superheroes to make the community better for residents. Merry and bright at the Festival of Lights

Saturday marked the return of downtown Kissimmee’s annual Festival of Lights parade and holiday celebration. Over 60 floats were featured in the parade including one dedicated to the city’s fire and rescue department and another for Give Kids the World.
